Happy Halloween!

We've had an eventful Halloween weekend at the Price Household! Friday we went to the pumpkin patch to participate in some farm activities and pick out a pumpkin. We had so much fun, even in the little time frame that we had and left with a 16 lb pumpkin! They had animals to pet, a cow train, pig races, pumpkin slingshot, corn maze, corn cob launcher. It was probably the most fun Fall activity there is to do out here. Saturday we headed out early to a park for their "Trek or Treat"...it turned out to not be what we were expecting, so we met up with some friends at a playground. We got a couple spur of the minute family pictures made. Hopefully I'll have those to share soon! Then we went to our good friends, Josh and Taylor, house for the UGA vs FL game. As usual we had a blast hanging out with our friends and enjoying some yummy food. Today we took Logan trick or treating in our neighborhood. He seemed to have a blast! After each house he'd tell us "more, more" and hop on the stroller for a ride to the next house. He wasn't ready to be done for the night, but we'd been to all the houses and it was getting cold really quick!

Quilt

The crafty gene came out of me this weekend, so I made a quilt top! I wish I was better, but at least I try. The colors didn't come out well in the photo. The orange is not as overwhelming as it seems and the aqua/teal is more pronounced. It's 42 x 56, perfect lap quilt size.

Well Visits...

Today was Logan's 2 yr well visit and Nate's 2 mth well visit.

Logan weighed 25 lbs 6 oz (18%), height 36.5 inches (93%), and head circumference of 19.25 inches (56%). He got 2 shots, one being the flu shot, and cried more and longer than Nate did for his, but he was a big boy and was better in just a few minutes. Kris (the NP) said his eating habits and picky-ness are normal. She said toddlers will go through phases where all they want is apples, then the next week they hate them, which seems to be what Logan does. The best part of the visit, though, was when we were leaving. There was this very attractive Nurse Practitioner student. Logan must have thought she was very pretty because he was walking down the hall staring at her, not watching where he was going and walked right into a box of supplies they had sitting in the hall. Kris told Brent that he had to teach Logan how to be more discreet. HAHA.

Nate weighed 12 lbs 6 oz (54%), he is 24 inches long (75%) and head circumference of 16 inches (56%). She was impressed with his head strength and said most babies still had some lag when picking them up and laying them back down, but he doesn't have any. He got 2 shots and one oral vaccine. He only cried for a second and was all better before she even had his bandaids on. He's gained 2 lbs 8 oz and grew 1.75 inches in just 5 weeks. He'll probably weight more than Logan by 1 yr, haha. However, I do feel that the next 2 months will be the "test" of my milk. Logan's 4 mth visit was when he started to fall off his curve. There were a lot of other factors involved in that, but much of those factors are the same with Nate (acid reflux, spitting up, restless, etc.) Logan also had drastic weight gain in his first 2 months, but I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic.

Logan Turns 2!

What a big boy he is now! We had Logan's second birthday party at Riverview Park in Chattanooga on Sunday, Oct 17. It was a huge success with a great turn out. He got lots of his favorite things, like trucks, books, movies, Thomas, and even an Elmo which he now sleeps with in addition to his George. Thank you to everyone who came and for your gift! He loves them all!

Milk anyone?

Logan will get some for you. HAHAHAHA

We made it...

To two years rear facing! Two years was my original goal, but we may be doing it for longer since he's so skinny. I thought he'd surely outgrow his seat by 2, but it doesn't look like he has.

Here's why I'm so adament about it....notice the difference in the movement of the children on this crash test. CRAZY! It's my job to protect them as much as possible.

Weekend Update

We went to the UGA/TN game and had a fantastic time! That's Nate strapped to my chest, haha. He slept pretty much the whole time and was an angel during the whole game!

Logan learned some new tricks. Boy am I in trouble now!
