June

Looking back at the photos taken in June, we had a fun and busy month!

In the first part of June, we visited our good friends, Josh and Taylor, in Atlanta. They have 3 littles too and everyone gets along so well. We spent the day at their family's pool. It was SO MUCH FUN. So far, that has been my favorite day of Summer. Logan was so brave. He was going down the slide head first, jumping off the waterfall, and was thrown really, really high over and over again. Nate wanted nothing to do with the water, but had fun playing with the waterhose. He eventually got in with us near the end of the day and sat on the steps kicking his feet. Graham loved the water, he wanted to be in constantly. He took a great nap in the pack-n-play on the deck for most of the time, giving mommy time to enjoy the pool too! It was such a great day! Everyone was having a good time, getting along and so happy.

Brent took a week of vacation during the first week of June. After visiting The Bottoms in Atlanta, we mostly hung around the house. There was one day where all 3 boys spent the night with Mom and it was so nice! We went out downtown, which we haven't done since we were in college. My cousin watched Graham one evening so we could finally use Brent's birthday gift card. Graham has a tendency to scream anytime we are in public and even worse at restaurants. We ended up going to Bone Fish. It was amazing! The big boys acted like human beings and were so good at the restaurant and of course the food was amazing!

The next weekend was Father's Day. Brent got a new riding lawn mower. He's mowed the grass more times in the 2 weeks he's had the lawnmower than he did all of last year. He mowed Saturday, Wednesday and then Saturday again just this week. haha.

The next weekend was spent having fun with our long time friends, Ryan and Esther and their 2 littles. Logan and Thijs are about the same age and get along SO great. We went to their house to grill out dinner and then to the Aquarium to play in the water. The kids had a blast! Us adults might have too ;) We had a huge breakthrough with Nate and the water. He actually got in and laid down in the water all the way up to his neck. Maybe his fear of water is fading?!

This past weekend, Taylor and her kids came to visit. She came back in the Winter, but it was too cold to get out and see Chattanooga so she was anxious to explore the city. One evening we went to Harrison Bay to cookout and swim. The kids loved the water! The next day we did a Groupon for The Chattanooga Ducks. Each of the kids got to drive which they really enjoyed. Graham was over it in about 2 minutes flat, but I had some treats that held him over for another, oh, 2 minutes. That kid...he will be my biggest challenge! After the ducks we went to Sticky Fingers to eat. Sticky Fingers never disappoints. We followed lunch up by a much needed and long nap for everyone! Of course we had to get back out and explore a little more. We took the kids to the fountains at Coolidge. Graham even loves them. Nate was not scared of the water either! The sun started to set, so we walked up to the bridge to take pictures of the kids at sunset. Half naked, water soaked and barefoot babies on the Walnut Street Bridge. I'm sure we looked like parents of the year. ha.

Also this weekend, we had a cookout for my nephew who just got back from China. He was there for 6 months for a study abroad program for his college. The kids played on the slip n slide, which was of course the greatest thing ever.

Now we're gearing up for our July 4th party. We bought our fireworks over the weekend. 483 shots. You might be a pyro if....

A random supermoon pic. If you look close you can see the craters on the right side.
