Disney Day 4, Character Breakfast

Another reason I really, really liked our hotel was because they have character breakfast. It was nice to not have to spend precious time on the park day waiting on the character breakfast and sitting down for a big meal. Pluto and Goofy were at this breakfast. The boys LOVED it! It wasn't crowded at all, in fact there were only about 5 families in there, so they spent lots of time with us.

After breakfast, we packed up and headed back to the airport to come home. Brent and the boys were passed out before we even took off. The boys woke up after we landed and thought that we'd never left. They were very upset that they didn't get to experience the flight on the way home, haha.

Day 3, Pool and Downtown Disney

Day 3 we spent relaxing. We got everyone ready for the pool and then walked over to Downtown Disney to eat breakfast. Of course they had a splash fountain going, so the boys got to run around and play! There was no one else there, so it was nice to just sit back and watch!

 

 After breakfast we went to the pool. I have more pool pictures but can't seem to locate them right now. The hotel had a really awesome water park type thing for the kids with water canons, fountains, dump buckets, etc. It was cold though. It had fresh water continuously pumping through it, so it never had time to heat up.

 

After the pool, we took a really long, much needed, nap. Then we went back to Downtown Disney for dinner. We ate at this awesome place called T-Rex. The boys LOVED it! It was much like Rainforest Cafe, but it was all dinosaurs. They had a meteor shower every 10 minutes or so and each section was themed with a different time period. We were in "Ice Age". That's why there's a dino skeleton in a wall of ice in the pic above.



 The boys got to pick out one toy each. Logan got a new Woody doll from Toy Story. This one has the pull string and says all the things the one on the movie does. He still sleeps with it at night.

 

 Nate chose this art set. I'm not sure why, but he still carries it around, so he must love it!

 

After dinner and a little exploring, the boys were exhausted so we went back to the room, watched movies and passed out.



Disney Day 2, Magic Kindgom!

 

 

Disney Day 1

Disney was just as magical as your dreams. I can't wait to go back! Here's day one...

 

Day 1 we spent traveling and at downtown Disney. The boys woke up to a box from the "box man" (what they call UPS/FEDEX delivery guys). The box was from Mickey and it had all the things they would need for their trip. Autograph books, trading pins and lanyard, special Mickey shirts I made, etc. Then we went to drop Graham off with mom and she had them a special Cars bag full of things for the plane...candy, snacks, coloring, stickers, etc. Then came the "long" trip to the airport. We flew out of Knoxville because it accommodated Brent's work schedule better. The boys were so excited about riding on an airplane!  

 

 Logan was following the dot on the map to our destination so he could see how close we were. This helped with the "are we almost there" every five minutes. He also let us know when we were crossing water and the Christmas tree (state park, haha).

 

 No carsickness for Nater Tater this time! Yay!

 We rented our car and drove to our hotel, which was at Downtown Disney. I don't think we could have picked a better location.

 

 We checked in and walked over to Downtown Disney for dinner. Our hotel exit was at the entrance to DD. It was so convenient!
