Moving

Tonight is mine and the boys last night in Warner Robins. We are going to my parents tomorrow. One of my best friends is getting married Saturday night and I have to go in person to turn the electricity and water on, on Monday.

Tomorrow morning we are having a yard sale. Hoping to get rid of some junk and create a little more space in the new house. Me and the boys are leaving at nap time. Hopefully it will be an uneventful drive by myself with all 3 boys. One can hope, right?!?!

As soon as the power and water are turned on, I am going to the new house to deep clean and buy groceries. The movers will be unloading the truck Thursday. Then we have Thursday evening, Friday and Saturday to unpack, settle in and train the big boys to share a room before Brent leaves for Arizona on Sunday at 12 noon for a week of onboarding and training for Amazon. He use to travel a lot for work but hasn't since Nate was little, so I'm not looking forward to being in a new town and new house for a week by myself with the boys, but I'm hoping to fill the week with activities to keep us busy so I don't dwell on it as much. If anyone wants to visit, help unpack or decorate, entertain the boys that week FEEL FREE!! Haha. Hopefully it won't be too bad and I'll survive the week with all my hair and no one injured. I'm really hoping the next two weeks fly by!

Home Sweet Home

So now that we're moving out, I'm finally getting around to sharing pictures of our house here in Warner Robins. This is more for our record and memory than anything else, because we love everything about it and want to use a lot of the features in our (hopefully) final home in Chattanooga/Chickamauga.

Moving

Again?!? Yes.

Where?!? HOME!!! BACK TO CHATTANOOGA!!

Brent was offered a position with Amazon in Charleston, TN (just above Cleveland) and he took it. Finally, we are moving home!! Brent's first day will be June 18. The movers are coming to pack us up and move us on June 11, so we'll be in our new house sometime around June 14.

We went this weekend on our house hunting trip. We will have to rent while our house is on the market and while we decide where we want to settle down. The rental market is extremely competitive right now due to the limited good school districts and the industry boom with VW and Amazon. It seemed like everything was getting away from us before we could lock it in. It was extremely frustrating, to say the least. Sunday evening when it was time for us to leave, we decided that I would stay and continue the house hunt and Brent would go back to Warner Robins to work. I ended up hearing back on a house Monday afternoon and signed the lease without Brent even seeing it. It was extremely nerve racking picking out a house for our family with no help, but quite honestly I had to sign on the first thing that came along and we'll just have to deal with it for a year or two. The house we are renting is out in Harrison, near Harrison Bay. It's about 45 min from Chickamauga. We were hoping to find something in Ooltewah, but we didn't have any luck. There's tons to buy, but nothing to rent. The house is a lot smaller than we are use to. It's 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with a small finished basement. The big boys will be sharing a room and the basement will become the playroom/office/craft room. It has an over sized garage and attic storage which will be nice for storing all this extra furniture. I'm excited about the challenge of making this house a home and decorating again! And of course, I'm excited to be near family and friends!!!

Busy, Busy

It's been a busy week or two for the Price family! We went home last weekend and I finally got to meet my new niece. Baby G also got to meet 95% of the family on both sides. Today was water day at school and Logan's class sang for the Wednesday night service at church. We have date night this Friday night. This weekend will consist of Spring cleaning the house. Tuesday is Logan's end of year program, Wednesday is Field Day and a picnic, Thursday is a Pool Party and then we're coming home again next weekend.

The boys are all doing good! Logan has finally pooped in the potty again. This makes 4 or 5 times maybe? Nater Tater is starting to be a strong willed, aggressive toddler. He puts his foot down (or hits) when Logan messes with him, finally starting to stick up for himself a little and Logan is not too happy about it. He is talking more and more, even though when in public or around a crowd you'd think he didn't know one single word.

Baby Graham had his 2 month visit today. He weighs 12 lbs 12 oz, 67%, and 21.75 inches, which is a whopping 7%. Will baby Graham be my short, chubby baby? We shall see! He is cooing, smiling, and tried to roll over at the doctors this morning. I should probably put him on his belly more often and see if he starts to roll. He's a strong little booger, despite his size. He is doing well holding his head up. Still spitting up, but it's obviously not affecting his weight gain.

We had a little near miss accident the other day with Logan. I think I'm still having heart flutters from it. He was outside with my dad grilling chicken. He was playing on the opposite side of the patio from the grill. Apparently the propane tank was leaking from where the hose connects to the tank and caught fire, which caused a fire ball or ball of heat (something, we're not really sure) to burst open the cabinet doors under the grill. Whatever it was, fire ball or extreme heat, singed the ends of Logan's hair, eyebrows and eye lashes. His bottom eye lashes on one eye are pretty much gone. He had wet hair and clothes from playing in the water hose, and I have no idea if this aided in keeping him from being burnt? The siding on the house was not damaged, so it wasn't hot enough to melt it. I just can't help but think of what could have happened if he was standing any closer. The "what ifs" still have me a little freaked out and I'll probably never let the kids near a grill again. Logan was a little freaked out too. He came running in crying so hard, saying something about PawPaw and fire shooting and how hot it was and how it scared him. We thought he was talking about when Dad lit the grill, but he seemed a little too freaked out so I went out to check on Dad, who was rushing (if there is such a thing as my daddy rushing) to the shop, I ask if he's OK, he is but I notice the flame under the grill and got my tail back inside until it was under control. He was going to get a glove to use to turn the tank off. No one did anything wrong and no one was at fault, he wasn't even that close to the grill, it was just one of those freak accident type things. Laura saw that I was a little freaked out, and suggested we both sit on the front porch with a Mommy Capri Sun (that's a premixed drink, pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, etc, that is sold in a little foil pouch like a Capri Sun), so we did. It didn't help, but it tasted good.

Weigh In

Another week....another 1.5 lbs gone! That is 26 lbs from my highest pregnancy weight with Graham (9 wks ago), 16 of that being baby weight, 10 less than prepregnancy weight and 13 lbs since I started actively dieting 4 weeks ago.

Here's to another week and another (hopefully) 2 lbs gone!

Today

I ran 1.31 miles without stopping!! On my way to a 5k!

Two more

Two more pounds gone!! That makes 11.5 total! Here's to the start of week 4 and continuing the running. Running seems to help. Those two pounds were gone by Friday. I haven't ran since Thursday due to fussy baby, company, Brent working late, etc. I tried yesterday but Graham wasn't having it and by the time he calmed down it was too dark.

Busy rest of the week ahead. I have a doctors appointment today. This week is the "Art Show" at the boys' school. Little did I know that I have to pay $10 each for their art. Guess that's their way of raising money, since it's not like I'm not going to buy it. Tomorrow is Mother's Day Tea at school. Then I have to get all the laundry done and us packed for Chickamauga. We are leaving after dinner, close to bed time so hopefully the boys sleep on the way home. Graham has been getting fussy from around 5:30-9:00 so maybe the car ride will lull him to sleep and we won't have any issues. Friday morning we are getting the boys and Elsie's picture taken, then I have to go to the mall to grab a couple things, then the bank since our bank is still back home (after 7 years of living away it looks like I'd break down and use another credit union, but I really love that bank), then home to get naps, then to Brent's Aunt Lisa's so they can meet Graham that evening. Saturday is the family "Meet the Babies" cookout. Sunday morning is Thomas the Train. Whew. Should be an interesting weekend with 6 adults, 2 busy toddlers, 2 newborns, and 2 fighting dogs. Anyone want to keep Jade for me? Haha.

Seems like we have several busy weeks coming up. Logan's class is performing at a Wednesday night service, Field Day, school's end of year program, Mother's Day, class Pool Party....
